On Friday 13th March I went to Toddington Railway Station where steam locomotives and old ‘slam-door’ type carriages were laid on to take horse racing fans to the Cheltenham Festival.
'Betton Grange' locomotive reversing.
Fireman climbing down from the cab.
Showing someone around the cab.
Race goers waiting to board.
Checking the times of the races.
A quick chat with the driver.
Just adding the right sign.
All done.

A group 'selfie' before boarding.
Happy days!
"I'm on the train!"
Finding their seats.
Settling in for the journey.
"Who are you betting on?"
